Gideon brings a wealth of experience from his work with key government institutions and NGOs, including the Council of Churches in Namibia, the Ministry of Environment and Tourism and the Namibia Tourism Board. His journey with O&L began in 1998 at Namibia Breweries Limited as Manager: Corporate Affairs, a role he held until 2001. He then became the first CEO of the Namibia Tourism Board, shaping Namibia’s tourism landscape over a five-year period.
In 2007, Gideon’s passion for purpose-driven impact led him back to O&L as Corporate Affairs Manager at NBL. His dedication and world-class expertise earned him the role of Chief Corporate Relations Officer at the O&L Centre in 2012, followed by Manager of Corporate Affairs. A true force for good, Gideon’s ability to bridge the public and private sectors has been instrumental in driving meaningful change, strengthening O&L’s presence and fostering relationships that create lasting value.
