Namibia Dairies was established in 1997 through the merger of Melkor and Bonmilk (Pty) Ltd. The company's roots trace back to 1946 when it began as the Rietfontein Cooperative Creamery, sourcing cream from Grootfontein farmers for butter production.
Today, Namibia Dairies operates as part of the Ohlthaver & List (O&L) Group with two strategically located depots in Windhoek and Oshakati. The company’s !Aimab Superfarm in Mariental, established in 2009, houses approximately 900 cows producing 29,000-31,500 litres of hormone-free milk daily.
As industry pioneers, Namibia Dairies was first to introduce Extended Shelf-Life milk in Southern Africa and long-life milk in Namibia. The company's diverse portfolio includes UHT fresh milk, traditional fermented milk products, fruit juice and dairy blends under several leading brands.
Guided by the O&L Persona of being Authentic, Caring and Passionate, Namibia Dairies is committed to delivering positive experiences and making a lasting impact on all stakeholders.
