In a testament to the power of collaborative dialogue, Namibia Dairies and the Namibia Food and Allied Workers Union (NAFAU) have successfully concluded their F26 Wage Agreement, setting a positive precedent for labour relations in our country. This milestone agreement, effective July 2025 through June 2026, demonstrates how mutual respect and shared vision can overcome economic challenges.

The agreement offers tangible benefits: a 5% salary increase for all permanent bargaining unit employees and a once-off N$2,300 ex gratia per employee, with 367 employees benefitting from this payment.

"By putting our people at the heart of our purpose, this approach aligns with Vision 2029," noted Wynand Oosthuizen – Managing Director, Namibia Dairies, while NAFAU's Tuyeni Michael emphasised the "mutually beneficial outcome that enhances our members' financial security."

This agreement reflects Namibia Dairies' thoughtful approach to employee relations and steadfast dedication to being an employer of choice. As part of the O&L Group's ambitious journey toward achieving Top 10 status in the Global Great Place to Work survey, this milestone proves that when organisations remain authentic in their values, caring toward their people and passionate about shared success, everyone wins.
